All things fall!

I know London makes you wait all year long to feel the sunshine on your face for just a couple of weeks, but there is something about fall that hits different. As we kiss away those beloved late sunset days, it's time to welcome the cozy new season. It's about this time of the year when you pull out of the closet all your warm sweaters that you put away ages ago. Even though it's too soon to put them all on and sunny days still come and go, this season is all about getting more and more in the mood for big, comfy jumpers. Deep inside you know that in the blink of an eye, the most colourful time of the year will be long gone.

While you are working hard on getting back on schedule, it is easy to get caught-up in your busy agenda. You put a lot of effort trying to succeed at work, maintaining a social life, invest in relationships, focusing on your wellbeing and so forth, that before you know it, you find yourself having a meltdown from over-exhaustion. Towards the end of this week I found myself completely worn out, so this weekend I decided to invest on some me time. What's best than spending some quality time in nature to nurture my soul! Nature has a great ability to heal. If at all possible, we should be all spending at least half an hour every day closer to nature. A morning walk can help your mind reject all negative thoughts, boost your mood and restore your concentration. Remember that taking good care of yourself is essential and allows you to give the world your best self and not only what's left of you.

You should also take advantage of the colour transformations that take place this season. The colour changes on the trees these months are incomparable. Don't let the time go by without taking it in. I always try to remind myself too, as I can easily get lazy with the weather, that a walk in nature is a great opportunity to get me moving and put those pyjamas to bed, appreciate the magnitude of nature and put my mind to rest for a while. No matter the temperature. This morning I took a walk coat-free and enjoyed the touch of the cold morning breeze on my skin. I think it's one of the best sensations! It's not that cold yet, anyway.

#ootd for this Saturday morning: dress/myFashion.com.cy, earrings/COS, Leather Oyster Hobo bag/Fendi, boots/ZARA

For today's look, I unintentionally chose an outfit closer to nature's palette. It ended up matching with the environment pretty great. It is officially fall, which means no more sandals for this season and moving on to boots. So, this morning I pulled a box with a pair of over-the-knee boots from last season out of my closet and got autumn ready for my walk. I also tried on my new gift from myFashion.com.cy, a light camel dress with tulle puff sleeves. I am so obsessed with puff sleeves since last season, I think I must have replaced half of my wardrobe with these! I completed the look with minimal ball drop earrings and a leather bag in the same colour palette, and I felt ready to say goodbye to summer for this year, for good! Till next year.
