My top 5 weekly buys.

It's been quite a week for me this one. I may have overdone it a bit and even exceeded my own limitations, but some things really needed to be done. And then all of a sudden, the announcement for a new lockdown popped in with us starting to panic that eventually we won't be able to get things done in time. Great timing! Thus we spend the whole weekend like shopaholics on the road, getting a final glimpse of all the products we need to buy just before the shops shut their doors once more. Buying certain things online can sometimes be tricky, sizes vary, quality can not be guarantied, pictures are not fully representing reality, delivery times can't be trusted anymore. We generally think we have made some good progress. Let's have a look at this week's top buys.

1) John Lewis & Partners Impressionism Assorted Shatterproof Baubles, Tub of 30, Silver, £10

This year we are dreaming of an all white Christmas! With everything that's been going on, we want to beat the negativity that 2020 has brought so far. White means safety, purity, cleanliness. It is associated with light, goodness and has a positive connotation. It is considered to be the colour of perfection. White depicts faith and it can represent a successful beginning. So we want to start afresh with 2021!

2) NUK Genius Soother Size 0-2m, £5.49/pack of 2

NUK's been recommended by my mum as the best brand for pacifiers and feeding bottle' tops. Something about the way the silicone is optimised and shaped to suit the baby's sucking reflexes. I trust a woman that successfully raised a bunch of kids with my eyes closed! And of course a baby brand that's been established throughout generations.

3) NUK First Choice Plus Bottles (x3) 0-6m, £12.15

This certain type of feeding bottle is also first choice for Anti-Colic. NUK's Anti-Colic Air System reduces air bubbles during feeding for a reduced risk of colic.

4) Sienna Designs Co, Natural Hairbrush & Cotton Bag, £13.99

5) TUTUESTHER High Waist Postpartum Underwear, Amazon, £22.99/pack of 5

I did my research and -after a few failed buys- I want to believe these will be the right panties for me. Fingers crossed. Follow the link for the look and more colour options.
