Nursery transformation part I.
A small update on how our little nursery room is coming along. We didn't have much time this week to invest in properly preparing everything, so apologies for the little mess shown. I had my hands tight with work and constant deadlines, I actually started feeling quite uncomfortable sitting for prolonged periods of time on a daily basis. I didn't get enough rest during the past couple of weeks and unfortunately neither the opportunity to enjoy what was happening on the background while I was too busy to even deal with it. Thankfully, once more Carlos had been a blessing. He's been assembling and putting together everything, finalising our shopping checklist before black Friday and taking care of our household.
When I decided to work till the very end of this 9 months, I definitely had something different in mind. I am glad I will be putting this project to bed end of this month and hoping to get some rest me-time just in time before delivery. It's a pity I still have to work over this weekend on a presentation for a design workshop at Bucks University, but hoping to get some laundry and ironing done in the meantime and get these legs moving for a bit. Work never ends in here, as it seems! It's a good thing there aren't much you can do outside this days, otherwise I would have to deal with my raising depression levels too, ha! Looking forward to polish off our nursery room once and for all. Will be sharing part II soon ;)
The following items have been checked off our nursery room checklist:
✓ Moses Basket & mattress
✓ Stand (this one was the hardest to find as our basket ended up being way bigger than the standard sized ones)
✓ Changing basket & mattress pad
✓ Mattress Protectors for both basket and changing basket
✓ Under-sheets
✓ Top Sheets & blankets
✓ A fresh green touch!
✗ Chest of drawers --changing table to be (arriving soon!)
✗ Storage baskets
✗ Shelving stand or Ikea Trolley with top shelves for storage (haven't decided which option to go with yet)
Aren't you just loving this clothing colours and the autumn vibes! A blessing!
